management committee

The MassBays’ Management Committee is the main governing body. It consists of representatives from the scientific community, state and federal agencies, industry, and non-governmental organizations.

The Management Committee fosters a collaborative and coordinated approach to addressing critical issues affecting the MassBays estuaries and coastal watershed, guiding development and implementation of the Comprehensive Conservation and Management Plan, establishing program priorities, and approving annual work plans.

A list of current members is provided below. Several members also serve on one or more of the four standing subcommittees, including Science & Technical, Nominating & Governance, Communications, and Finance, and share their expertise to develop organizational plans and strategies.
