The MassBays National Estuary Partnership is proud to establish the Pam DiBona MassBays Endowment Internship Fund in memory of Pam DiBona, whose leadership, vision, and dedication transformed MassBays and strengthened coastal conservation efforts throughout Massachusetts.
For more than 12 years, Pam served as Executive Director of the MassBays National Estuary Partnership (MassBays), growing the organization into a leader in empowering coastal communities to protect, restore, and enhance estuaries and coastal habitats. In her quiet and unassuming way, Pam was truly "a force of nature and a force for nature." Her impact was felt far beyond the coastal ecosystems she worked to protect; she inspired and mentored countless colleagues and community partners throughout her career.
Pam believed deeply in collaboration, public engagement, and investing in future generations of environmental leaders. The Pam DiBona MassBays Endowment Internship Fund carries that commitment forward by providing support for student internships/fellowships that advance the MassBays mission through environmental science, habitat restoration, communications, education, monitoring, and community engagement.
Your Gift
The funds will be available for internships or fellowships through which students gain valuable hands-on experience while contributing to the protection and restoration of MassBays’ estuaries, and coastal watersheds. The fund ensures that opportunities for learning, leadership, and service remain available to future generations. Every contribution helps create opportunities for future environmental leaders and advances the mission that Pam devoted her career to building.
